According to this story in The Examiner, anyway. We just don’t act like we do.
Me? I believe in Santa.

I see Kerry forward Kieran Donaghy has apologised for giving the finger to Mayo fans in Castlebar last Sunday.
Why?
Some complete knacker in the crowd had just narrowly missed Donaghy’s head with a piece of timber. And he’d already been struck with a coin thrown from the crowd, as had the Kerry goalkeeper.
In the circumstances, I reckon a raised finger was a pretty restrained response.
Don’t these precious ‘fans’ want to make you puke? They spew out the most vile abuse at opposition players, then come over all offended when the players react.
Stop acting like knackers, lads. Then the players won’t be tempted to offend your delicate sensibilities.
Eddie O’Sullivan has resigned as Irish rugby coach. About four years too late IMHO.
Who’s up next? Declan Kidney? I hope not for Munster’s sake. I wonder if he’d even want it. Too much bad blood with Dorce and Drico and the rest of the goys.
Cash in hand, too. Mind you, there’s nothing unusual about that. I remember being paid peanuts back in 1994.
Just before the tribunal adjourned, Judge Mahon said she should look again at the bank documents and speak with her solicitor Hugh Millar, “so that you will be quite clear in the evidence you are giving and the evidence you have given in the past”.
Is Gráinne Carruth about to do a Frank Dunlop? Look out for the attacks on the Tribunal to ramp up again.
And Hell’s Grandads will join them - just as soon as they’ve had a nap.
That’s what the BBC is asking.
I don’t know about legal, but it sure ain’t comfortable.
So I’m told…
…is bloggers who disappear for months on end with no explanation.
Then pop up to say “I’m back!”
Then disappear again for months on end with no explanation.
Grrrrrrrrr…!
…With time off for good behaviour. (Won’t stop me having a go at lenient judges, though
)
Kevin Dunne of Ballyfermot Drive has had his sentence for assault causing harm increased from seven to ten years by the Court of Criminal appeal.
Dunne left a Lithuanian man severely brain-damaged and wheelchair-bound as a result of a savage, uprovoked attack.
He is currently serving a two-year sentence for another unprovoked attack on a Frenchman.
The maximum sentence for assault causing harm is life imprisonment, which is what Dunne should have got.
Either that, or he should get out of prison when the victim of his assault gets out of his wheelchair.
We do not need this scumbag walking the streets again. Ever.
