Donald Ducks the Blame

US Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld has put the blame for all the bad news coming out of Iraq squarely where it belongs.

On the media.

Rumsfeld says “his” generals have downplayed the recent violence between Sunnis and Shias.  Apparently journalists have been exaggerating the situation.

Meanwhile, in other news, the bodies of 18 men have been found in a minibus in Baghdad.  The men, bound and blindfolded, had been shot or strangled to death.

Only a minor incident, then.  Let’s not exaggerate it.
